Description (last modified by zaytsev) (diff)

Forwarded from Ubuntu:

I am aware of the fact, that vfat is unable to handle such
large files. Is it possible to check this before copying
and present a warning to the user?

P.S. It would be also great to check free space on the target volume in general before copying.

Well, I never had a crash because of this, but still it's annoying to get notified only after copying 4 GB to a slow flash drive.

It seems that we have made some progress in the past 10 years - now you just get a warning instead of a core dump.
