command to select all files with the same extension as the current file

a very useful feature in far manager is the ability to select/unselect all the files with the same extension as the selected file in a panel.

you can press ctrl+kpplus over file foo.pdf and all the pdf files in the panel are selected (and unselected with ctrl+kpminus).

would it be possible to mimmick this feature in mc in the future?

(it's already possible to do this with kpplus and typing e.g. *.pdf, but it would be faster with a shortcut :)

What's wrong with pressing + and typing 3-5 chars?

And what's wrong with using plain sh? Comfortable work. Try to type these 3-5 chars on some weird laptop keyboard without backlight.
